Command line: DIVIDE
The Divide command distributes points or blocks at the same distance from each other along an object’s length or perimeter. Distribution along object points or blocks divides the object into segments of a specified length.

Command options:

? Opens the additional options to select objects.
Block Switches to block insertion mode.
Yes Switches on the object to block aligning mode.
No Switches off the object to block aligning mode.

Command prompts:

Select objects to divide or [?]: Select an object.
Enter number of segments or [Block]: Select the Block option.
Enter name of block to insert: Specify the block’s name and press ENTER.
Align block with object? or [Yes/No]: Specify the option.
Enter number of segments: Specify the number of segments and press ENTER.
